지난 1일(월), 큐브엔터테인먼트 소속 그룹 펜타곤의 멤버 후이가 공식입장을 통하여 오는 2월 18일에 입대하여 약 4주간의 기초 군사훈련을 마친 뒤 사회복무요원으로 근무할 예정이라고 밝혔다.

 

더불어 신종 코로나바이러스 감염증(COVID-19)의 확산 방지를 위하여 입대 장소와 시간을 일절 비공개로 진행하며, 특별한 절차 없이 조용히 입대할 것으로 보인다.

 

 

 

 

애초에 후이는 지난 2020년 12월 3일 입대 예정이었으나 코로나19 확진자가 발생한 음악방송에 출연하면서 선제적 자가격리에 들어가 한차례 입대를 연기한 것으로 드러났다. 이에 후이는 연기한 날짜인 오는 2월 18일에 입대하게 된다.

 

큐브엔터테인먼트는 "후이가 사회복무요원으로 국방의 의무를 충실히 수행하고 건강한 모습으로 돌아올 수 있게 응원을 부탁드린다"라고 언급했다.
